Biography & Awards

Born and raised in Pittsburgh Pa, my passion for photography sprouted at a young age. It seems like I have always had a camera in my hands. Throughout high school I spent the majority of my time filming and photographing school events. In 2002 I was awarded "Best Documentary" at Robert Morris University's Film Festival. Shortly after, I was given a college scholarship to attend art school. I relocated to Miami, FL in 2004 to study Film and Digital Production. In 2007, I was awarded my Bachelors degree of Fine Arts. For three years I worked as a retail photography manager and district trainer. Currently I am working full time as a freelance photographer, mother and wife. For the past five years I have had the opportunity and pleasure to shoot with many brides, couples and families in the South Florida area. My goal is not just to deliver a photo, but to tell the story with my images. I am currently shooting with Canon's 21.1 megapixel high performance SLR combined with Canon's line of L-series lenses. Along with my main setup, I also carry a backup professional camera and lenses to each shoot.
