The rain just wouldn't stay away this weekend, but that won't stop this bride! Summer and Alin were troopers as we sloshed around the Sundy House this past Saturday.

When Lucas contacted us with his idea to propose to his fiancé at a local pumpkin patch, we were really excited to help make it happen! He shared with us that their first date took place at a pumpkin patch in North Florida, so he really wanted to make this special. He was nervous about it going off well, so Tasha took a drive with him to Bedner's and we meticulously created the plan. She did not suspect a thing, as Tasha inconspicuously walked around, getting into place. All went well as Lucas got down on one knee. They made their way around the grounds taking fun photos, stopping from time to time as they broke out in happy tears. Lucas beamed with pride, as his master plan went off without a hitch. Congrats to the happy couple!

Sure, south Florida is famous for sunny skies, sandy shorelines and tropical sunsets. Although these summer settings are beautiful, it's always a lovely change of pace when fall rolls around! This time of year is our absolute favorite for portrait sessions. Cooler air leaves our couples more comfortable in outdoor environments and the softer sun is more pleasing on the skin. A weekday session at the park is the ideal time, when kids are in school and you and your photographer have the location to yourself. ~ Consider having your session this fall!
